Project Flight
Project Flight is a $600 million program of works which will shape our airport for future growth. These projects will deliver improvements across all areas of the terminal, increase capacity of the airport and meet our commitment to a seamless, connected and easy journey for our customers.
While these works are underway there will be some changes and disruptions to our usual ways of operating while we are in the construction phase. For up-to-date information on projects and any changes to the customer experience please click on the sub project images below.
Key Project Flight infrastructure upgrades include:
- Check-In Hall including demolition of the southern ramp
- Gate lounge upgrades and regulatory security screening upgrades
- Northern Terminal: Expansion of the northern end of the terminal by more than 10,000 square metres
- Southern Terminal: Expansion of the southern end of the terminal by more than 5,500 square metres
- Aircraft Parking: Expansion of the number of aircraft parking positions adjacent the southern end of the terminal
