Filming & Photography
Adelaide Airport considers requests for filming, photography and media production on airport grounds. Approval is required before any activity can take place, to ensure it aligns with safety, security and operational requirements.

Complete a Filming and Photography Application

You will be required to provide detailed and essential details: production type, date(s), filming / photography locations, equipment, crew size, and contact information.

Submit at least 21 days before the planned production. Please note, this includes application review and consultation with our internal departments which are required before approval.
Certificate of Currency
Certificate of Currency for public liability insurance, with a minimum coverage of AUD 20 million.
Access permits or clearances
Any additional documents, such as access permits or clearances (especially for airside work), should accompany the submission.
Application Approval and Fees and Payment

The application will be assessed in collaboration with Safety, Security and our Operations teams.

Approval is granted at the discretion of AAL. Denials may occur due to operational, safety or security reasons.

You will receive formal approval via email, including any conditions or restrictions.

Approval is valid for the specified bump-in to bump-out timeframe, contingent upon payment and documentation.
Fees are calculated hourly based on location and timing:

- Payment is required prior to filming unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Additional charges may apply for staff, out-of-hours operation, or special arrangements.
On-site Conduct

Comply with all airport staff instructions; do not interfere with airport operations or passenger flow.

Security areas, screening zones, airside locations or check-in counters require explicit permission before access.

For filming / photography involving airline, airport, retail, operational staff or branding, secure consent from the relevant company or persons is required prior to the shoot.

Ensure identification provided by Adelaide Airport is worn by all cast and crew while onsite.

Any live or broadcast media (e.g. LINK vans) must have prior authorisation.
