About Adelaide Airport
Welcome to the gateway to South Australia.
Adelaide Airport is more than a place to begin or end a journey – we are the aviation gateway to South Australia’, a hub that connects people, goods, ideas, and opportunities. We are the first hello and the last goodbye for visitors to our State and South Australian’s returning home.
Since May 1998, when Adelaide Airport Limited purchased the operating leases for Adelaide and Parafield Airports, we have proudly managed these vital assets under a 50-year agreement, with an option to extend for a further 49 years.
Today, Adelaide Airport is the nation’s fifth-largest domestic and international airport, welcoming more than 8.7 million passengers each year. We play a critical role in linking South Australia to the rest of the country and the world – supporting tourism, trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
Just 18 kilometres away, Parafield Airport stands as Australia’s premier general aviation airport and an international centre of excellence for pilot training. Recognised globally as a world-class training facility, Parafield continues to enable industry to build the skills and expertise that keep aviation moving forward.
Together, Adelaide and Parafield Airports are key drivers of South Australia’s growth and identity. We shape experiences for millions of people, and our connections enable South Australia to thrive on the global stage.
We’re here to make your day
At Adelaide Airport, we’re working to be Everyone’s Favourite Airport — by making every experience seamless, connected, and easy.
