Changes to Chauffeur Parking Location and Access Fees 2025
What is changing?
1. Chauffeur Parking Location
Chauffeur parking will be moving to a new location from 14 May.
Due to upcoming works the existing chauffeur service area will be decommissioned for chauffeur parking. 10 parking bays will be repurposed as dedicated chauffeur vehicle parking within the P1 Terminal Car Park, conveniently located next to the lifts on level 4.
The new chauffeur parking location provides an undercover pedestrian access to the terminal, ensuring comfort and convenience for both chauffeurs and passengers.
The walking distance to the passenger collection area from the new location is comparable to the distance from the current area

2. Access Fees
The Access Fee for use of the dedicated chauffeur area will increase to a base rate from $3.00 to $5.50 (inclusive of GST) for the first 45 minutes, with additional charges applicable for longer stays summarised below.

The price change represents the first increase to the base rate in over 7 years and ensures Adelaide Airport can continue to appropriately invest in, and deliver, efficient chauffeur service infrastructure.
When is it changing?
The relocation from the current area to P1 Terminal Car Park, Level 4, as well as the change of the Access Fee, will be effective as of 00:01 AM on Wednesday 14 May 2025.
What do I have to do?
From Wednesday 14 May you will need to use the new location when undertaking commercial chauffeur activities at Adelaide Airport. You can continue to use your existing access card to enter P1 Terminal Car Park, the activation for access to the P1 Terminal Car Park will be done automatically.
What should I do if my access card does not grant access to the P1 Terminal Car Park?
Please press the help button at the boom gates to the P1 Terminal Car Park, and our team will be able to help you immediately.
What if all 10 bays are occupied?
10 bays are allocated for chauffeur use based on usage of the previous chauffeur area. In the event that the 10 chauffeur bays are occupied please use a parking bay from the public parking area on Level 4. Use of the chauffeur bays will be regularly reviewed to respond to changes in demand.
What if I use an oversize vehicle?
The maximum entry height in the P1 Terminal Car Park is 2.2m, and the maximum length is 5.4m. Please use the bus and shuttle area at the Southern end of the public pick up/drop off area if your vehicle exceeds these dimensions. The use of the bus and shuttle area is subject to the conditions of use printed at the entry point, and standard fees for use of the area apply as per our website. Vehicles under 2.4m in height and 5.4m in length are not permitted to use the bus and shuttle area without prior authorisation from AAL.
